This unusual 'exciter' type AU universal binary plug boosts treble and transient definition. It contains clipping at -0.3dbFS to use after a limiter for ultimate attack. Bite is $29.99.

This is an unusual plugin, don't expect to be able to just keep turning it up. You can hear it on the snare attack in the example, and it's also opening up the texture of the mix a little, but it's also messing up sibilance a bit. Its primary value is sheer unusualness. Bear in mind that increasing transient definition doesn't necessarily mean making the highs more compressed- Bite is capable of opening up a mix in such a way that it might even seem more distant or empty. It would also make a strange glitch plugin for ugly distorted sounds.

Try the demo of this by downloading the demo collection! You're not allowed to use the demo for actual work. It politely mutes itself briefly every couple minutes, and that's the only thing it does to spite you. It won't expire or do anything to you, and when you get the actual plugin, throw away the demo and put the real version in its place and most software should replace saved instances of the demo with the real thing seamlessly, retaining any settings. Please support my cooperative, unhostile demos with sales of the real software.
