All the Airwindows Character AU plugins that don't compress, for the price of one! APIcolypse, Calibre, Cider, Luxor, Neverland and Precious. Six killer console sounds for channel or 2-buss. The Character bundle is $59.99.

I think the notable ones are Neverland- because that's the one based off Neve impulses and it can be huge and thick-sounding- Cider because it resembles the sound of an MCI console and though this is not a spectacular sound it's strangely musical- and Luxor because it's based off Manley tube gear impulses and does have a luxurious quality. You get all of these for your $60, so it's a pretty good collection. They don't compress or do anything other than give you a softness-controllable distortion to stop overs, but each of these uses the same on-the-fly convolution impulse technology that is used in the very successful Logical. So they're a far, far cry from a simple Neve-shaped EQ curve- the whole way the system reacts to the amplitude of incoming signals is pretty unique. They are meant to be on the subtle side, so if you're not hearing anything from the demos, don't buy them in hopes they'll be more obvious on your own mix. If these are something you need, you'll know by hearing the examples.

Try the demo of this by downloading the demo collection! You're not allowed to use the demo for actual work. It politely mutes itself briefly every couple minutes, and that's the only thing it does to spite you. It won't expire or do anything to you, and when you get the actual plugin, throw away the demo and put the real version in its place and most software should replace saved instances of the demo with the real thing seamlessly, retaining any settings. Please support my cooperative, unhostile demos with sales of the real software.
