StereoDoubler is a universal binary AU plugin that creates two additional voices on a stereo track (that can be mono or a choir) hard L and hard R, and pitch shifts them in opposite directions. This one's by request- chorusing is fine and all, but people wanted unmodulated pitch shift for this application. It came out of development for something else- the algorithm uses very sophisticated techniques to try and get a pitch shift with next to no crossfading or FFT transforms- so it has a very raw sound, very big. Check the demo to see if it is free enough of artifacts for you- rather than have a processed sound, it's more of a buffer-banger like a glitchless 'GlitchShifter'. StereoDoubler is
$59.99. Also note that a mono version is
available as a freebie!
Try the demo of this by
downloading the demo collection! You're not allowed to use the demo for actual work. It politely mutes itself briefly every couple minutes, and that's the only thing it does to spite you. It won't expire or do anything to you, and when you get the actual plugin, throw away the demo and put the real version in its place and most software should replace saved instances of the demo with the real thing seamlessly, retaining any settings. Please support my cooperative, unhostile demos with sales of the real software.
