StudioKit

StudioKit is an EXS24 sampler instrument that’s designed to work with Airwindows Console. Each sample has ConsoleChannel already applied, which makes all of EXS24 including the filters and effects run ‘inside’ Console. If you run it at unity gain with no extra ConsoleChannel on there, you get a blend between samples unlike normal sampler instruments, plus a better sound out of the filter and effect processing.

StudioKit is a slick sampled drumkit, but with some quirks. It’ll sound clean, but note that there’s a tone color in the top end unlike what you’ll get with newer stuff. On this day there were some converter issues, so treat it as if it’s coming off retro digital equipment with a distinct ‘sound’ and artifacts. This may or may not work with your mix.
