Voice Of The Starship is a plugin designed to produce environment noise—not just natural, but unnatural environments. Namely, spaceship rumble, like what you heard in episodes of Star Trek. It defaulted to a seashore-like effect, with random surges that fall away again. In stereo, these ‘waves’ hit at different times on left and right.

PopDemo is a universal binary Audio Unit compressor plugin designed to create extraordinary pop vocals.
Inspired by radio-friendly Genesis, Pop puts every detail in your lap- the reason it exists is, I was listening to ‘Mama’ and other songs off the eponymous Genesis album, and couldn’t believe how overwhelming Hugh Padgham had Phil Collins’ vocal sounding. It reached out and grabbed and defined every detail so aggressively- I needed to make a special compressor that could deliver a sound like that, because nothing I had was designed for such aggressive behavior.
It’s got just an Intensity control and a Dry/Wet control, and does indeed get mighty intense. That’s its job, after all.

Clip is antialiased, Airwindows-ized hard safety clipping, nothing more. This is basically the bare-bones freebie loudenator: the simplest, cleanest, loudest of them all. It’s got a touch of the ADClip mojo helping it keep treble from glaring under stress, but none of the fancy bypassing or 3DClip elements that ADClip adopted.
This is for you if you need to use Airwindows stuff and you’re broke. Stick this on the end of your mix buss, with DitherTo after it, and mix good and loud into it. It will stop overs, that’s what it’s for, and the treble won’t be too glare-y compared to straight digital clipping. None of the fancy Airwindows stuff can really go louder than this, they just sound better while trying. Sell the resulting music to record execs or something, and save up to buy the real Airwindows plugs. (but this is still real, it’s just real crude ;) )
HardVacuumDemo is a vacuum tube AU universal binary plugin. It features very smooth overdrive, warmth for asymmetrical clipping, and an Aura control unavailable anywhere else.
The Drive control gives you the basic tube saturation. Warmth doctors how that saturation is applied—and Aura is something a little special. It takes the angle of the waveform and alters it, to produce tubelike characteristics beyond what just working on individual samples will do. Aura was the best way I could describe the result.
